Once, there was a girl lying on the hot sand of a desert. The sun was shining very much, all her body was sunburnt and she was dying because of a lack of the water. She didn’t even remember when she drank or saw a human for a last time. Actually, right now she didn’t remember anything at all.
Sometimes we face a cruel reality. When we look in front of us, we see just darkness and unachievable aim. However, important thing is not to give up. Almost every problem has a solution, maybe not simple one but we should confront it. We should always see a light at the end of the tunnel.
Sometimes, I think about people, who decided to do something wrong. When I studied on my school-leaving exam few months ago, I was learning about the criminals and how people become the criminals. But honestly, I think that every one of us have a little criminal inside us. It depends only on how much we let him grow and influence us.
I’m not trying to say that we all are the same – murderers as adulterers. But tell me that you have never heard that voice inside of you, which persuades you to do something you don’t want to do or something you know is wrong (even you eventually didn’t yield to temptation). As the saying goes, an opportunity makes the thief.
Often we can hear people talk about what kind of things they would bring to the deserted island. In the most cases, we hear answer as telephone, tablet, computer, Wi-Fi connection, television. However, at first we should think about a box of matches, drinking wather, atlas of eatable plants, axe or partner (if we can talk about it as a thing).
Is the internet really so necessary? I mean, think about it. You are alone on the island. You can’t write messages to your friends (not even postcards), you can’t read what happened in the rest of the world, you can’t shop online or play games. Of curse, the first option is the worst, you would lose attachment with the world, you wouldn’t know if someone died, you wouldn’t know about WW3 or anything. But the most people would choose the internet over the box of matches because they just can’t live without typing and looking through the Facebook wall.
Sometimes we do things we are not proud of. It doesn’t matter if it’s because of alcohol, selfishness or just a bad decision. We all make mistakes. However, most of us try to postpone them for later (or never). Of course, it’s easier but can we really do that?
Few days ago, the first Summer day came and to the Czech Republic brought an amazing weather. Normally, our temperature is in this time of the year about 20 degrees. However, for a few days now is about 36 degrees, which is awesome. I also know some people who just close themselves into their flats and refuse to go outside. However, I welcome the sun and high temperature with the open arms. I took a few days off and I just enjoy my time on my own after a very long time. I swim in the pool (or maybe is better to say I float on my new huge-infitable-donut).
Quite often we divide people into the two groups – the optimists and the pessimists. In most cases people deny where they belong. Optimists say that they are not so optimistic and pessimists claim that they can also see the light at the end of a tunnel. I think every one of us have the pessimistic and optimistic part. Sometimes I think about a glass where is a half of the wather. Is this glass half-empty or half-full? I guess most of us see the first option. These days, there is so much pessimists who watch the other group as the weird happy people without problems, who don’t care about how world is worst and worst. Unfortunately, I am the pessimist but I’m trying to change that even a little bit. That’s why I bought this postcard on my holiday in Switzerland and put it above my bed. So the first thing I see every day is this writing.
